The 2004, 20th
Annual Redlands Bicycle Classic

Racing begins on March 23rd, 2004
with top riders from around the world. By the conclusion
of the event on March 28th, 2004 over 50,000 dollars
in prize money will have been awarded. The six-stage
event will cover over 350 miles and spill over into
the surrounding communities of Riverside and Yucaipa.
With the new Crestline Road Race on March 24th the
Redlands Bicycle Classic will also run in the cities
of Phelan, Victorville, Apple Valley, Hesperia, Lake
Silverwood and Crestline. This new race is said to
be modeled after the Tour De France with rolling hills,
steep climbs and sharp turns that should provide excitement
for both the riders and the fans. This year the Redlands
Bicycle Classic is filled with events and races for
all ages. Downtown Redlands will be the headquarters
and finish line for most of the events and races.
