HURRICANE KATRINA RESPONSE FUND
As a first step in support of our United Way colleagues in Louisiana and Mississippi, who face what may be the most damaging hurricane in American history, United Way of America has activated the Hurricane Katrina Response Fund. (click here to donate) United Ways in and near the projected hurricane path will be working with community partners and 2-1-1 to respond as quickly as possible, as the first stage of the long-term recovery process.
